About a year ago, we were asked to create a product that represented what we thought would be the biggest issue of 2022 for the cover photo of an industry magazine. With 2022 being an election year, we came up with this design. Little did we know, Roe v. Wade would be repealed less than a year later.
In the end, a different photo option we submitted was chosen for the magazine. However in May, once we got word that a repeal would be coming, we decided it was the right time to showcase this design in our own product line. We created two art prints as well as a post-card and a sticker. We have been donating 20% of sales from this design and anything in our Feminist Collection to the National Network of Abortion Funds. It's so easy to feel down and helpless at big legal changes like the repeal of Roe v. Wade but this art print reminds us to keep doing our part and using our vote as our power. Click below for more.
